Wessam Shehata is a seasoned intellectual property attorney and the Founder of Authentic IP Advocates, a boutique law firm based in Cairo, dedicated to the protection, enforcement, and commercialization of intellectual property rights. With over 15 years of specialized experience, Wessam is recognized for her strategic insight, client-focused approach, and deep expertise in both regional and international IP systems.
She began her legal career in 2008 at one of the Middle East’s leading IP firms, where she developed broad expertise across all key areas of intellectual property law — including trademarks, patents, copyrights, and enforcement litigation.
